What clubs make up a complete golf set? What other "stuff" is needed?
I'm trying to figure out what my husband for a Buy golf-themed birthday. He has established one of the clubs that have been customized for his father and he likes that brand (no idea who that is!). All I need find out what clubs I should get it. Well, he is always a gift cert. for specific clubs. What other things I can give him for his golf bag. Obviously Balls and teas, but I am puzzled about anything else! PLEASE HELP! I'm not picking his mark or anything. I just want to know what kind of clubs. You know, 3-wood, Driver-wedge, etc. Thanks.
A driver, a putter, and 12 others in between. Get a glimpse of his pocket and see what he now wears and what he wants. Your choices are forests in points 2 to infinity, irons numbered 1 to 9, and any number of wedges. Most average golfers wear (compliance a 14-club limit) of the putter, driver, 3-wood, 4 wood, 5 wood, iron, 3-9, pitching wedge and sand wedge. Some suggest the forest easier than long irons, so they sub a 7 wood for a 3-iron. A lot may leave at 3 / 4 wooden timber for an extra wedge in another loft. There is no "set set. It all depends on what he was comfortable with. A big bag stuffer would be a Gore-Tex rain suit. Or at least a Gore-Tex top. You are in the big rains. And Foot-Joy makes a great set of rain gloves that the best that I so that you are always visible on a wet grip Golf Club. The Gore-Tex'll be expensive, the gloves are about $ 15-20. PS Do not be him "a" golf lessons. A number of them or none at all. I think it was Bob Toski, who pays $ 200 for five hours and $ 2,000.00 for a way back when (if you're a miracle, you should expect) expect to pay for it.
T-Bag rocks the Costa Esuri Golf club!
