Will a golf range finder scope and work, and for hunting?
I'm an archer need a way to determine my distance, from my stand to the deer. Lately I have noticed that digital scope and range finder in the direction of the golfer put on the market to find the distance from him, the green. Has anyone used one of these for bow hunting or hunting in general? The reason I ask is that the Hunting rangefinders are $ 200-500 and golfers Scope / Rangefinders are only about $ 50.
Gulf areas will have a scale on the lens that measures the height of the flagpole on known distances. Hunting With a laser range finder show that actually reaches the target and a number. I think we could be a golf range finder by an assumption about the use of deer Height, then does some quick math to figure out how big it is in relation to a golf flag and the division of the flag pole height by the percentage of that amount, the deer, then converting that to yards #. If the deer is still there, it would work.
