Golf-cart batteries you can 4 12 votl on 8 6 volts?
I have 2006, a 48-volt car club car lifted with 4 12v batteries and am on the verge of new batteries since the original and will not hold a charge long enough. Can I to 8 6V batteries in this car and this will be for longer terms for a hunting wagon allow more area to cover? Any advice and tips will be appreceated. Thank you,
It is possible to connect eight 6V batteries in series and a single 48V battery. But, all the batteries of the same size and capacity, or you can overheat and destroy the lower capacity utilization Battery. All 6v & 12v batteries are really running a few 2v batteries in series. It would the same thing with eight 6V batteries. The main issue is the physical space needed are installed at eight batteries. The ampere-hour capacity of the 6V batteries must be equal to or greater than the 12V batteries or they are no longer the endurance / range. More batteries not necessarily more stamina.
